thanks for that revelation!

on the other hand they did win 3 out of 4 from the Yankees, take that Shea!

Big-E, who's that lady?:D

Schoeneweis as has been a revelation in the last couple of games. Eaten up innings and given nothing away. A few games ago he was losing them games. What happened? Great to see anyway.

Only disappointment this evening was Accardo. 2 outs for 2 runs.

Money saved on Hillenbrandt could pay for Lugo. Would be terrific news if it happened.

Her name is Kelly Brook. Hot!!!

Schoeneweis, for the most part has been solid as a Jay. Every player, let alone a pitcher, goes through ups and downs. Nobody's good all the time. It's just that a pitcher can lose a game by himself with a bad outing easier than a position player.

If the Jays can do the same to Boston as they did to New York, they may just challenge for the wild card, if not the East.

went to see a baseball game in Toronto and instead I witnessed the Jays murder the.....ahem.......Bronx Bombers

rookie looked good pitching

Wells played agreat game....yet again (P.J. better sign this guy and not screw him like Delgado)

Reed Johnson......fucking guy is Superman in disguise......

the Cat (another player who must be signed) what great defense this guy brings to the team not to mention what a great hitter he is.

IF we got this guy Accardo for Shea and Chulk for money saving reasons then fine use that money to bring Lugo but if that was the best offer we got "as claimed by PJ" then i was not impressed tonight

over all 3 out 4 Go Jays Go

Lets see how they do on the next 10 road games. The Jays are 20-22 on the road so far this season. If they can go 7 and 3 on the road trip they have a fighting chance.

64 games to go. 39 on the road. Most in the majors.

This next road trip will be crucial. If they can do 6 - 4 or better, they could move up a bit on Boston and on the wild card (which is not a cert for central). Post-season still would then still be in reach. Return of Chacin and Rios will be good news as will be emergence of strong 1 - 2 in Halliday/Burnett. I'm still hopeful and they are already playing better than I had hoped for at start of season. :D

I think 6-4 will maybe allow them to keep pace, not move up. But that's OK for being on the road. Their chance to move up will be in the head to head games.

I'm staying up late tonight to watch.

They have 3 games with the ChiSox and 7 games left with the BoSox.
They have to catch one of them to make it to postseason.
So what they need to do is keep pace and sweep one of these teams in a head to head series.

Hey, I'm gonna stay up late and watch also. I'm hopping on the bandwagon dammit!!!!

I have to give my props to Eric Hinske since Shea was shipped to the bay, he has been on fire. He's been patient at the plate and shown his power from his rookie season. Jays can easily trade one of their 4 OF's for a starter. A.J goes today hopefully he can follow Halladay with a win.

Also would like to give props to the most improved player since May, Hill who was batting worse than Adams, has really worked hard to go from .195 to over .300. Hats off.

Not sure if the Jays will be similar to the Expos. The pockets seem a little deeper with Rogers and the fan base isn't in shambles. If the Jays end up no worse than the Marlins, A's or Twins I'd be a happy fan. Not so much "there's always next year". I mean look at the Phillies, Red Sox, White Sox and Cubs. Those are some pretty big clubs. Combined they only have 1 more title in 88 years than the Jays. Things could be much worse.

But I agree that it's this year for the Jays with an outside chance next year. After that it'll won't be like this until 2010 or so.

I wouldnt be so fast to jump all over AJ, he's only pitched a handful of games

All of this while Catalanotto is sitting on the bench. I know, I know lefty batter facing a lefty pitcher but my god he's a .326 hitter and much better defensively and a better baserunner.

Gibbons does make some curious choices..........
Gibbons is a bit of a twot for sitting Frank on the bench in these situations. The Cat should be in the lineup. Why not play him as the trade deadline approaches? He is a FA next year, maybe he could be dealt in a package for a starting pitcher?

With only one reliever, besides the closer, with 20 innings or more pitched and an ERA that is under 4, no way does this team have a chance of making the post-season.
