I wish Jamie Campbell and Rod Black would be sent packing. God almighty they are awful. http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/team/broadcasters.jsp?c_id=tor

Schoeneweis as has been a revelation in the last couple of games. Eaten up innings and given nothing away. A few games ago he was losing them games. What happened? Great to see anyway.
64 games to go. 39 on the road. Most in the majors.shiftee said:Lets see how they do on the next 10 road games. The Jays are 20-22 on the road so far this season. If they can go 7 and 3 on the road trip they have a fighting chance.
I think 6-4 will maybe allow them to keep pace, not move up. But that's OK for being on the road. Their chance to move up will be in the head to head games.teassoc said:This next road trip will be crucial. If they can do 6 - 4
Gibbons is a bit of a twot for sitting Frank on the bench in these situations. The Cat should be in the lineup. Why not play him as the trade deadline approaches? He is a FA next year, maybe he could be dealt in a package for a starting pitcher?yesguy said:All of this while Catalanotto is sitting on the bench. I know, I know lefty batter facing a lefty pitcher but my god he's a .326 hitter and much better defensively and a better baserunner.
Gibbons does make some curious choices..........![]()
"SHIP IS SINKING"kirmit129 said:With only one reliever, besides the closer, with 20 innings or more pitched and an ERA that is under 4, no way does this team have a chance of making the post-season.
Actually, the only bad season for Halladay in his first 5 seasons was the 2000 season.boffo said:Once again the Jays lose on account of a rookie pitcher.
I was just looking at the career stats of Hallyday and he didn't become really good until his fifth season of MLB. Although he obviously showed signs of brilliance early on.
