Maybe the US can engineer another coup d'etat and reinstate the son of theRockslinger said:100,000 Iranians marched to-day in Tehran shouting "freedom". There is a report that one freedom supporter has already been killed. Too bad ordinary Iranians don't the right to bear arms.
My Iranian friends tell me that Iranians found freedom in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., etc. and they want their relatives and friends in Iran to have freedom as well.
Unfortunately that won't last long. So far several arrests have been made of opposition Party leaders.Secret_Admirer said:
Hail to our women and men who are facing the armed islamic thugs empty handed.
The U.S. Government hasn't said a word about the election in Iran. In fact doing so would almost certainly be counterproductive.danmand said:Seriously, I don't think the US has much credibility in calling for freedom in Iran.
You are certainly right about that and the fact that the US has had no position on the results of the election.Aardvark154 said:The U.S. Government hasn't said a word about the election in Iran. In fact doing so would almost certainly be counterproductive.
I think Mugabe was around long before Dubya was.WoodPeckr said:Who in turn learned them from Dubya.....![]()
There are a lot of people who admire people who constantly criticize the US. Hence Ahmadinejad and Chavez are like heroes despite their own sins which can be even worse. They simply try and look the other way (or try to defend them). They also somehow try to turn every discussion into some US screw up.Secret_Admirer said:What kind of primitive talk is that!!!!Is your mind blindfolded !!!!!!!, or better yet do you have one???!!!
details, details, don't bother us with details.Don said:I think Mugabe was around long before Dubya was.
yea not importantdanmand said:details, details, don't bother us with details.
Let's not be naive. My Iranian friends tell me that there are PAID agents of the mullahs operating in foreign countries. These people will call their own mothers a "F---g Bitch" for a few dollars.Don said:There are a lot of people who admire people who constantly criticize the US.
President Carter lost IranSecret_Admirer said:The shah, who died in Cairo a year later, had been a close ally of the United States. His domestic agenda included improving the role of women and weakening the power of the clergy.
I fear the mullahs learned democracy demonstrating crowd control from the PRC and the old Soviet Union. Where are the voices of the "LLL"?Secret_Admirer said:Iranian state radio says seven people were killed during Monday's protests in Tehran over the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

No surprise here. My friends tell me that no civilize Iranian would attack another civilize Iranian so the mullahs bring in their Hamas hired guns to do their dirty workSecret_Admirer said:Hamas thugs are helping the hated Islamic regime in Iran to crush dissent:
You don't have to convince me of how great iranians are...I work with a bunch of them. And their women are awesome. I wish the iranians the best of luck in their struggle to regain their freedoms.Secret_Admirer said:Carter was weak and an idiot. He lost more than Iran during his 4 year defeated presidency. Obama must come out much more strongly in support of Iranian people or he will be another loser democrat.
Yes Persian women are all that, but I don't agree with the latter part of your second comment though. They do date outside their ethnic/cultural/religious group.
As an example, my own aunt is married to an Italian guy who was a christian. My other aunt is married to a German guy with no religion. If I had a sister I am sure she would have been married mixed as my both brothers have English (British) wives.
I have met more Persian nude dancers than any other foreign born nationality. Just last week I met a beautiful Persian princess who works as escort.
Contrary to common belief Iranians (or Persians) are very open minded and as westernized (or may be more) as any western citizen but unfortunately the news media concentrate on the apes and their supporters rather than the true people of Iran who represent the majority (and I am sure you know all these because you have been among the minority of North American with Iranian friends).
Meet some real Iranians for a change:
