If the European majority of Canadians wants to see Canada's population
double, triple or quadruple in 2 to 3 decades there is nothing
you can do to protect the 'identity' of Canadians. There will be no alternative
to looking to the most populous countries in the world as main sources
of newcomers. I am of the view that it borders on insanity to aim for
population increase of such magnitude.
Bringing down the immigration volume and keeping it at a
manageable level is all it takes for our 'identity' to remain intact.
