So McCabe is damned if he plays and damned if does not play. Good thing he is cushioning himself with all these millions of dollar bills in between a rock and a hard place. LOL!!!

McCabe Trade?

Maybe it was just the anticipation of McCabe returning that caused the problem..

I heard a rumor that the groin injury was just an excuse. The real reason is that JFJ was just about to pull the trigger on a trade deal for McCabe.

i would have to make record that last night, McCabe actually played quite well! maybe his tender groin forced him to not try and do to much and play a simple game... i don't know... but, he was one of the best leafs in their shootout loss to NYR's last night.

ya he wasnt running around that much and stayed in position pretty well. 1st time in a while he wasnt on his overpayed ass scambling to clear the puck away from Toskala.

Lets see if can manage to put 5-10 games like that. Then we can let him out of the dog house.

Back to normal again. McCabe gives it away and Raycroft lets it go right through him.

Its not even worth getting upset about anymore.

Did you see his give away in OT

McCabe did not even look up when he made the blind pass..Not sure why Maurice had him out there on a 3-3 situation in the first place in OT.Raycroft did not look good either on the breakaway..right through the Five hole...

McCabe's a pylon. If I was Ferguson, I'd trade him for a roll of tape and be happy with what I got out of it. If only he could be traded... useless piece of...

That's the kind of pass I make regularly and I stink at this game. I don't get paid all that money though!

Whereever I am now
When push comes to shove.. McGoat is just another gog in a unskilled team this year.

Maybe its worth the money to the leafs to have him wearing the goat horns, and deflecting the crap (negative attention),away from the rest of the "younger" players

People. Please try to show some restraint. Please.

Game over.

But Shack, how can we... I just don't understand it. In 30 years of watching hockey, I have not seen anything like this. Perhaps I am just now paying more attention, and there is a hell of a lot more info now than there was 33 or even 10 years ago.. so the spotlight is on him...

I don't think that I have seen a defenceman who is supposed to be the teams #1 guy play so badly. I feel like I am repeating myself, but the # of boneheaded plays by McCabe this year is staggering.

In a way, I like the fact that Maurice is giving him the chance to redeem himself. But I just don't see how much longer you can continue to hope
McCabe picks it up.

McGoat...I luv that name...

Here we are only 19-20 games into the season and McGoat is getting worse.I though scoring on hois own goalie was bad enough but now a blind pass on a 3-3 situation..

Fucken Leafs...

...same shit , different day...

The question was asked by Bowen during the OT, whose strategy was best to start..the Leafs with 2 forwards and 1 D man ...or the Canadiens 2 D men an 1 forward....Guess we got our answer...especially when the 1 D man is McCabe.

Maurice gets outcoached by Carbonneau..and by the fact that Carbonneau doesn't have to play a mental midget like McCabe 25-30 mins a night

Yep....

"Buffalo wins in OT on a goal by McCabe"

"Komisarek scores in OT on a nice feed by McCabe"

Boy, Flyin' Bryan really likes OT.....he is a clutch performer for sure, kinda guy you want out there with everything on the line....IF YOU'RE THE OPPOSING COACH!!!

Honestly, have'nt we had enough of this asshole?
