You could see Kat's bottom button on her dress pop open when she squatted down a bit. Then she took a step and you could see her panties for about a half second before the camera changed. She looked stunning too. She's HDTV eye candy at its best.
That little troll Paris needs to get off my TV asap. I can't stand her or her high pitched "Thank You" every 2 seconds during the judges comments. Not to mention her horrible fashion. I actually fast forward past her every week. The idol troll needs to go.

Dammit! I TIVO'd the show, but didn't think to watch Kat in slo-mo. And now I have deleted it. What was I thinking???

The comments here are interesting, as always. There are Paris haters, Taylor haters, and of course, Paula haters, but that's everybody. Everyone seems to like Kat, though, which I attribute as much to her hotness as to anything else. This is an escort review board after all. It will be interesting these last few weeks, there are no obvious weak links. My prediction... Chris and Kat in the final. I think Paris is 3. Taylor is 4. Elliott is 5. And although it will be sad, Kellie goes this week.

Here's another link that measures how the votes come in, based on busy signals. http://www.dialidol.com/asp/predictions/Predictions.asp The results are quite different except both are showing Paris with the least votes. Which I hate because I like Paris now and thought she sang best last night. Kelly or Taylor should go home. In my view they are clearly outclassed vocally by the other four.

Well, the fun ended for Kellie Pickler tonight. I can still remember her audition, heck, this whole damn thread was named for her after her audition. I remember the sad little vignette about her living with her grandpa and how she still loved her poor jailbird father. Sob. She had a nice little run, but her time was up. The dumb blonde thing could just work for so long.

Paris in the bottom two. Again, I would think as the last black contestant, she'd be doing better. I personally think she has been very consistent week to week and overall has performed very well. But so many people here seem to find her annoying, so I guess lots of folks across America do too. Chris and Katharine in the top two, no surprise. It seems to me they have clearly distanced themselves from the others.

Simon apologizing for being too harsh on Katharine. Priceless. You don't need to clean those ears, t8rs.

Well, I'm going to clean those orifices anyways but don't expect a review.

I actually tuned in late and missed Katharine's performance so I'm damn thankful for those zaba pics. I noticed she got the highest number of votes. Is that a coincidence with how she was dressed?

Do they know?

I have a theory that the 'departing' contestant knows before the show. They are all so organized and composed when they get the final word...and ready for their last song. My bet is that the producers or Simon, with his best bedside manner, takes them aside sometime before the live broadcast and lets them mentally get prepared for their final moments on the stage.
Since it is all live...they can't allow for any politically incorrect reactions to the vote results on air.

Sounds as plausible a theory as any other. However, I also think a lot of the contestants "know" they are going, simply because of their performances. Kellie clearly couldn't have been surprised about last night's outcome. I doubt if Melissa or Kevin (anyone remember them?) were surprised, nor Lisa or Bucky. On a show like this, I think you always have to be mentally prepared for the possibility you might be going home.

On the subject of how well they seem to handle it, and how they are able to compose themselves for their final song, that is one of things about this show that amazes me actually. It amazes me how much these contestants grow and mature over the course of the competition. Take a hayseed like Pickler, who probably has never been out of North Carolina. Suddenly she is getting the glam cover girl treatment, hobnobbin with industry bigwigs, and is performing live in front of millions. Somehow, she does it. And she did it reasonably well. That's amazing to me. The stage, the pressure, the poise, the expectations--somehow it just all becomes second nature.

Ace Young 9-1

Bucky Covington 80-1

Chris Daughtry 2-1

Elliott Yamin 10-1

Katharine McPhee 7-2

Kellie Pickler 10-1

Kevin Covais 60-1

Lisa Tucker 12-1

Mandisa 5-1

Paris Bennett 8-1

Taylor Hicks 5-1
Those were the Vegas odds on AI when the final 12 started. As of today the odds are:

Chris Daughtry 13-10

Elliott Yamin 9-1

Katharine McPhee 11-5

Paris Bennett 20-1

Taylor Hicks 12-5

Chris and Kat remain the favorites, although Chris' odds are now looking prohibitively in his favor. I should put a bet down on Kat when it was 7-2, although 11-5 is not bad. It seems nobody likes Paris.

I don't have any doubts about Katherines voice(or body:D ), but I can't believe in the followers of Chris. He played it safe again this week...singing Bryan Adams is a limited range, and he doesn't have to belt anything out. IMHO Elliott has a better voice than Chris. As for Taylor, well I think his time is just about up. Paris has a great voice, especially at 17, but she has to have the appropriate song. Just my 2 cents...for what it's worth.

Your two cents are as good as anyone else's, bandit.

Next week's theme is kind of lame. Each of the remaining 5 finalists will be doing two songs apiece. One song is from the year they were born, and the other song will be a current song on the charts.

Shows with this broad a net usually aren't very good.
