Just reading this thread tells you what is wrong with politics. People are so deep into their allegiance that they can't even see clearly the overall portrait of the situation and takes no accountability for their parties bad actions. I am neither a liberal or a cons, but imagine if the cons economic abilities would meet the liberal people oriented ideology. Something could probably work here.

However if I would have to choose between the extreme religious right or the corrupted left. I would go for the left. What the extreme right implies nuls everything they might have that is good.

Secondly, I think this thread does illustrate what's wrong with politics, but not for the reason you pointed out. I've brought tons of fact based arguments to the Liberal supporters on this site, but they continue to deny and troll. What can you say to someone who boldly tells you 1mil immigrants in 9 months is ok? They only do it because They don't want to admit they're wrong.

That's what it really breaks down to. Liberals don't like what's going on, but just don't want to admit they are wrong. It's childish, ignorant and stubborn.
