I put it in the left/right context because a lot has happened in the last 8 years. The traditional "right wingers" turned their backs on the foreign wars. Not because they suddenly discovered the value of foreign lives, but simply because their focus is domestic. I don't really care about the reasons, frankly as seeking peaceful solutions is better than war- no matter the motives.

Russia's war on Ukraine is only a "little border conflict" in the eyes of People like you. To the rest of the civilized world, and in the very words of Putin and his state directed propagandists, it is genocide intended to wipe Ukraine off the map physically and culturally.

Peace-lovers should also be hoping for a Ukrainian victory because if you think Russia will stop at Ukraine you've lost your mind. The way to bring peace back to the world and secure it for the future is for Ukraine to secure its territory again.
Have you looked at how many civilians have died because of Russian wars? Putin isn't called the Butcher of Grozny for nothing.
The West hasn't always been justified. And I hope the west does better. But a stronger Putin is not a recipe for more peace and less death.

Do you actually believe the words saying the war on Ukraine
was not justified from a guy who have easily killed several tens
of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and destroyed an entire city of
Ukraine? You have to be pretty gullible if you do. Meanwhile
Prigozin is going to spend his retirement years in Belarus living on
the big fat cheque from Putin as payment for accomplishment of
the mission of mass destruction of Ukrainian lives and properties.
