They don't get it. They keep talking about 2007 when Bosh is a restricted FA. He won't be unrestricted until the summer of 2008 and if that happens, I think that he would go to Dallas instead.

Next season is the 4th year team option which the Raptors have picked up. So in the summer of 2007, the Raptors have to make a qualifying offer of around $5 million for 1 season to make him a restricted FA, thus giving them a chance to match any offer made to Bosh (the Raptors would match any max offer). The only way that he can leave is to just accept the qualifying offer and play out the year and become unrestricted in 2008.

I am hoping and praying he doesnt jump ship.

Considering we just dealt Alston for James. It would have been interesting if they packaged it so Yao would have came here along with with James and we would of given up Bosh. The question is would you trade Bosh for Yao?

why would you do that?
Bosh is developing whereas Yao is regressing and when you watch Rockets play sometimes he looks very lost

I just think Yao would do well in Toronto. Given that there is such a large Asian community here whereas in Houston it seems like it is predominantly white. I think Toronto could benefit with Yao over Bosh.

I don't think "nothing" is the word but it would be more interesting to see these numbers along with the stadium capacity.

Toronto 17,101 of 19,800 for a percent of 86.4 (doesn't that number seem high?)

I also thought that certain teams calculate attendance differently; total number of tickets sold vs. the number of individuals who entered the stadium.

We had the lead but lost it. What is up with Jalen throwing his mouthpeice into the crowd? Raptors lose again in a very winable game.

Raptors 98 Warriors 108

Offensively they played a pretty good game. More fast break points, more points in the paint, good inside game.......just too many turnovers and Golden State killed us with 3's(58% from behind the arc???and some of those shots were from waaay out, but a few were indeed uncontested).....I'll take that game any night cause NBA teams aren't gonna hit 3's like that on any regualar basis. If Golden State had hit even a considerably high 45% instead of 58%, Toronto wins that game.

that was just a tough loss.

Look at it this way, there is less than 5 months left until the NBA Lottery, hopefully they get rid of Bobcock, Peddie, by then cuz they are bad luck

I think that we need to look at the backcourt with our perimeter defense being so bad. Rudy Gay (SG/SF) and Shelden Williams (PF/C) would be a good draft.

PG Calderon - James
SG Gay - James - Peterson
SF Peterson - Graham - EWill
PF Bosh - Villanueva - Sow
C Araujo - Bosh - Shelden
I hate to break it to you Raptor fans, but the upcoming draft isn't loaded with impact players. The Raptors are better off trading down. The big prize is in the 2007 draft when Greg Oden is eligible.

Philly game....

3rd quarter.............coaching......that's the game.

Will be nice to see Charlie V. playing 35minutes consistently sometime soon. I know its a lot to ask. Remember Chris Bosh didn't put up Charlie V. numbers this soon.

Raps need one more long athletic player, then you'll see how quickly the defense improves.

Athletism = Defense Once you add tenacity to this equation then you have greatness, but if you don't have length and/or athletism defense will suck.

Hopefully Pape Sow is learning quickly too. He seems to have all the basic components...just needs to really learn the game.

Holy cow, that's 2 in a row!!!! Good game plan by Mitchell. Hoffa needs to play more as he had 6 rebounds in 12 minutes.

T-Wac held to 11 points (2 for 11)!!!! That's because there was no one in the Toyota Center to boo him. :D Seriously, when the Rockets come to Toronto, don't booo him, it only fires him up.

Tmac wasnt into the game at all, he looked worn down with no Yao and double teamed the whole night. The rockets were short staffed and looked terrible but hey its a win.....Man is Calderon ever quick, just wait till he starts sinking his baskets when he penetrates the lane. Mo pete did a good job on Tmac as well.

It was a good game, and we finally looked half decent. Calderon looks like he will become a pretty reiliable point guard in years to come. The funny thing is we do seem to play better on the road. We need to start winning more home games and give the other teams in the league the impression that coming into Toronto isn't an "easy" win. Good win Raps!!

Raptors 94 Rockets 81 :)

It also goes to show you that you can't win relying on just one superstar Tmac. We saw the same thing when he played with Orlando.

Unless of course you are Kobe and can score 62 points.
