The more highly education people you have, the better chances they are to get a job and contribute to the tax base of this city.
That's what minority groups like Jews and Asians do. Do we ever hear about a Filipino getting shot by police or getting thrown off a balcony by police?

Because it's obvious you guys are only saying that because you're uneducated (by your own choice), confused and cowardly.
So why didn't you vote?

Because I don't care about the poll, and would rather take the time to dismantle pants-pissing cravens via actual replies
You might be trolling, but there's lots of people IRL who wanna disband the police

Yeah, I'm one of them. Can you read? Are you reading the thread?

I could care less about voting in a poll, particularly one deployed in a community where the consensus is completely predictable, but I'll make posts about the topic (which you won't read, because you don't actually give a shit about the issue beyond the platform it offers you to oppose black people/young people/leftists).

Why don't they replace all the Cops with people who have all these better ideas of policing. You know, like sending social workers in to handle all the calls for domestic disputes, drug addicted and mentally ill people. It was Desmond Cole who suggested we disarm and defund police and give money to communities. As if social workers would feel comfortable doing that.

The real problem is that it's next to impossible to get rid of bad Cops. The city Clowncillors should focus their attention on the police union (association) to get changes there.

What makes you think you can speak for social workers, and what they are or aren't comfortable with?

And, again, these changes would not happen overnight. People in these roles would inevitably receive training.

I can just imagine a bunch of social workers being sent into a crackhouse where all the residents are mentally ill.

Fun times

That sounds just as good if not better.

We should disarm the police. Make sure police smile and say please when handling criminals. If a criminal resists arrest, let he/she walk free because failure to do so may result in claims of excessive force. The new police motto should be "Be kind, at all costs".

You don't think they go to places like that already?

I think your taking it out of context. We're talking about when the police are called because an unstable drug addict is about to do something crazy. Were not taking about someone concerned who knows of a situation where a child might be living in poor conditions and calls children's aid.

Do it.

Jack them up.

Give them the de-escalation skills Waffle House employees have.

Cause the current system isn’t working.
