Here's exactly why the World Series returning to Toronto on Friday is so friggin' special. 😎 1993 was such a long time ago. It really was a lifetime ago. Talk to your fellow Jays fan sitting next to you at the stadium or at bar. There are tons of them who weren't even born yet. Sadly, that's the TRUTH...lol

I'd still keep Alomar at #2. He did it on the road against the best pitcher in MLB at the time in the top of the 9th. His home run shifted momentum in the Jays favor.
I know, it's a tough call. But I'm kinda edging it down because Spinger's is a late in the game 7 winner. To end a 32 year drought. I get how Alomar's was a big one due to showing they could beat the best.

This 2025 edition of Jays has overtaken the '85 team as my all time favourite.
I hate to say it… But this is what Ross Atkins has been preaching to us the whole time. Strong defense and pitching. I still think they were a little weak on the power before but now they have the right balance especially with the emergence of Addison Barger.

What I would really love to see right now is for this franchise to get back into that early 90s mentality of being a juggernaut that players flock to to win a World Series. With Guerrero locked up long-term, that should happen I would think. How beautiful would that be if this is a regular thing.

... also I just realized last night that the "OK Blue Jays, let's play ball" song mentions Dave Stieb in verse 2 "dave's put down a smoker" lol.

I'm so proud of these guys. They have worked hard on the fundamentals - good defense, good base running, working the count. Because of this I won't count them out of winning the WS, despite their severe underdog status. They got nothing to lose, there's no pressure on them. They've exceeded expectations already. Just go out there and do what you've done. Vladdy has finally asserted himself as a clutch star in the league. And Springer has to be considered for comeback player of the year. Look at his stat comparisons from 2024 to 2025

2024: OPS-0.674; R-74; HR-19; RBI-56; SB-16; WAR-1.1
2025: OPS-0.959; R-106; HR-32; RBI-84; SB-18; WAR-4.8

Truly astounding. He arguably had the second best year of his career after 2019. He's the main reason why the Jays are where they are right now.

Awesome Joe Carter interview who loves the "Springer Dinger." And then in another interview, he says he's joining the rest of the Jays alumni in Toronto to watch the series. Beautiful stuff!

Great video. Bringing the "blue" jays back into the original Blue Jays logo after they diverted for 15 years or whatever that was from the mid to late 90s until the early 2010s was such a great move.. I love watching footage from the late 70s/80s and seeing the logo similarities.

In my opinion the Jays would have to win it all for it to be higher than Alomar's. If it wasn't for Robbie the Jays don't beat the A's who were a dynasty at the time and they never win it in 92.

On paper the Dodgers have a better team, but the Jays have a lot heart and they also seem to have lady luck on their side, and that counts for a lot 👍

These LA reporters sound like idiots:LOL:
This sadly reminds me of the ignorance of the 92 World Series that showed on major network TV two kids playing catch with a hockey puck.
