After the American Civil War, the British Raj converted India's most fertile land to cotton production. It is estimated that over 40 million Indians died of starvation between 1865 to 1947. The British also used the divide and conquer method of ruling, putting Muslims and Sikhs in administrative positions while beating down the Hindu majority. To add salt to the wound India's raw cotton was shipped out of the country to be processed in England, what William Blake refers to "the dark Satanic mills".

Jerusalem is not a Rule Britannia song.

What would a British colonization of Saudi Arabia look like, a disaster like the Port of Aden.

It would have been entirely different for women had Europe populated Saudi Arabia (and neighboring country like Quatar).

I do not have much respect for Saudi's and pretty much all the middle east because they still treat women like shit.

You would have understand that I very much dislike religion and zealous religious person. They are all wackos to me. Only a weak men needs to be religious.

The Saudis are perhaps the luckiest people in all of human history having struck the oil lottery. Billionaires thru living in a desert that happened to have oil beneath it.

European colonial powers had no idea that trillions worth of oil was under that dirt so Saudis were spared colonial rule.

But what if they hadn't been.
Europeans knew and established a "protectorate" over SA in 1918, once they liberated it from the Turks.

Lloyd George, PM of the UK. Dude never missed a trick. He also established a protectorate over Egypt and Iraq. He gave Lebanon and Syria to the French. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Not particularly accurate.
