Guys, the question wasn't "do you tip". It was "when you tip do you do you it before or after"?

There's a million other threads for asking if you tip that you can reply to.
We ALL understood the question. We just wanted to give our opinion on tipping, regardless, LOL!

Q: What's the weather like today?

A: I think it is going to rain tomorrow.
Q: How did you become a post whore, amassing over 27,000 posts?

A: By making frequent, short, simplistic statements.

Like talking about the weather, in a discussion about tips.

Actually it was a direct question about when's the best time to tip during the transaction as well notifying them . Not a general discussion about tips. My guess is the OP doesn't give a shit about the people not tipping. He's probably asking because he tips but doesn't know the protocol/etiquette.

I think the best tip you can give your fav SP/MPA is repeat business and push some friends her way. $20 tip seems meaningless when compared against $1,000 or more in repeat/new business for your fav SP/MPA

BINGO ... You said it all in a nutshell . Repeat business is what's important . Not a bottle of wine , chocolates or a stupid card . You can do all of this and not see her again . So much for the stupid items that I have mentioned . Sp's are in business to make money . See her over and over again and your sessions will be a lot better because you get to know each other .

Do we expect a better session because of a tip . NO . We tip because it was a great session . That's what tips are for . Going beyond the call of duty .Not for the same old same old .

Repeat seeing her is the best tip in my mind . That's how I tip . That's how I show my appreciation .

Tip?

What the hell for? Rates are already too expensive.
Exactly . Never did I receive a nice tip in my paycheck for a job well done from my employer . Even though I have saved them millions in doing a great job in the past .

Doing a good job was expected from me . Why is it any different from a SP ?

You are not the forum police or moderator. We are now having a general discussion about tipping, whether you or the OP like it or not, since neither of you own this thread or forum. What's clear, though, is that we are not discussing the weather.

There is doing your job, doing a good job, and then going above and beyond. I have a day job, I recently got a raise because of my stellar work ethic. Want to try again?

Sure I'll try again . I worked for 37 years in a steel mill . One mistake and I could of killed many people just by pushing the wrong button on the screen . Never mind that doing millions of dollars in damage by doing the wrong thing at the wrong time .I also saved the company millions by fixing other peoples screw ups . Not once did any of us get a raise because we went above and beyond and had stellar work ethic . No it wasn't a union shop with a contract .

I guess when the boss wants the files at a moments notice or the coffee is to his liking it is grounds for a raise . LOL .

Tell me how much you have saved for the company that you work for and how many millions you have made in fixing other peoples screw ups .

That coffee really must have tasted good .

WANT TO TRY AGAIN ?

And do you tip your lawyer or dentist who also charge triple digits per hour? Want to try again?

I have tipped twice in 8 years. She smiled, was agreeable, bubbly without being intrusive, treated me with a great deal of respect (well beyond what I expect from everyone). Don't misunderstand, she had boundaries too. I gave her $20. She was grateful and remembered on the repeat when I also tipped similarly, at the end. Both times I left very satisfied with the encounter because she "got me". The sex was mediocre which is why I left it at 2 sessions.
