It has the exact same "value" as someone who is "right" or factually correct.
i think we have uncovered the root of your problem

you do not distinguish between "right" or "wrong" since they, according to you have the same value

i.e. self justification for any bullshit you post

you are not very bright

if you can’t see the biased and assume that he likely edited out the comments of people who actually knew what they were saying out then you need to reassess your critical thinking skills.

Yes '' So why are you here?'' is such a gotcha style question, ,lol.
Do you think if they said anything, the dude wouldn't pester them with follow up questions? I'm sure everyone attends these types of things for different reasons. Some are very well informed, others, not so much. But, in situations like this, it is advisable to have spokespeople explain what is going on. Because you know that any right-wing media outlet will find the least informed person willing to speak, and try to frame it like the entire crowd is that dumb. That's just the reality. Now, I'm sure if this dude kept asking, he'll find someone who'll probably say something like Hamas is a great organization fighting for peace, or jews control the media, or some other stupid shit. It'll be anything they can find to discredit or diminish the protesters. You know it and I know it. So, stop pretending that isn't what this dude was trying to do.

Looks like someone missed the point...video is showing that there are many students who don't know what they are protesting about...they are "fillers" to make it look like a big protest when it's not...

Go on @wearthepeace @palestinianmartyrs @alhelou.ly @wissamgaza you don’t need to know the history to know Israel is wrong and they are committing acts of terrorism against the Palestinians, all you need is a social media account. I can tell you that strength is in numbers at these protests and while the responses of these people are totally stupid, they are doing a good thing for the cause by just showing up.

They both have value in determining whether their opinion is valid or not.

Once it is determined that an opinion is NOT valid, then it no longer has value.

Somebody who shows up for altruistic reasons has much more integrity than someone who needs coercion to do so. And once it's been shown that so many had to be coerced the strength in numbers viewpoint goes out the window.

On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Greece
protestors who are uninformed about the cause , diminish the value of the cause
paid protestors who are uninformed about the cause are defrauding the public for monetary gain
there is likely not a law against this as law makers could not have conceived anyone being so irresponsible
the source of the funds may be a different story
Defending the notion that participants in a protest need not be informed on what they are protesting and retain credibility is ludicrous...

Here's some critical thinking for you. The point of these interviews is to show that MANY people at these protests cannot articulate, and perhaps don't even know, what they are protesting about. It gives the public a better sense of the ACTUAL strength of the sentiments in support of Hamas. Remember, the whole purpose of public protest is to COMMUNICATE something to the public, institutions, and to government. If you are incapable of that, you are incapable of protesting.

In this context, the "strength in numbers" the organizers want to show is no more convincing than if they had all shown up with their cats and dogs! (Maybe I shouldn't be giving them any ideas).

I guess you're not missing the point... you don't GET the point...strength in numbers although quite viable also need to have merit how much of those numbers really know what they stand for...just showing up oblivious to what you're fighting for...well, you're not really fighting for something....just a blank filler to make it look like there's really "strength" when there's really NONE...

you need to know the history in order to make an informed decision
Palestinians have been launching rockets into Israel with the intent to kill jews for decades (1970s +)

what do you think the Americans would do if their citizens were killed by rockets from Canada or Mexico for decades?
layer on the barbaric oct 7th attacks, rapes and kidnappings
gee, what could go wrong ?

I can tell you that strength is in numbers at these protests and while the responses of these people are totally stupid, they are doing a good thing for the cause by just showing up.
mob rule overrides intelligent informed decision making ?

support from uniformed blithering idiots undermines any cause

Remember, the whole purpose of public protest is to COMMUNICATE something to the public, institutions, and to government. If you are incapable of that, you are incapable of protesting.
it is also an attempt to deliberately mislead the public about the ACTUAL strength of the sentiments in support of Hamas.
if your cause needs to resort to deceit , it is not worthy of any support

In this context, the "strength in numbers" the organizers want to show is no more convincing than if they had all shown up with their cats and dogs! (Maybe I shouldn't be giving them any ideas).
you might be too late
what ever cause these barking mad lunatics are supporting , they will not win me over

spokesperson ? do you mean the one handing out $100 bills for a couple of hours of shouting slogans

Because you know that any right-wing media outlet will find the least informed person willing to speak, and try to frame it like the entire crowd is that dumb.
it looked more like a futile effort to actually find someone to intelligently communicate the cause
he asked a lot of people,

That's just the reality. Now, I'm sure if this dude kept asking, he'll find someone who'll probably say something like Hamas is a great organization fighting for peace, or jews control the media, or some other stupid shit. that is 100% pure speculation on your part
So, stop pretending that there is not something very strange about these protests

Look, yet another subject where you have no clue but think you are expert!
Israel has been occupying Palestine for 75 years.
An occupation the UN says is illegal.

Israel is apartheid, the occupation illegal and are now committing genocide.
Why would you back this?
What is wrong with you?

is it age?

if the dim wilted responses you did see do not make you question motivation to some degree , perhaps you need to reassess your critical thinking skills or your bias.

You can protest then too. Just dont go around waving the Nazi flag or join a protest started by a Nazi.
what's wrong with the Nazis

our current government invited a real Nazi into the House of Commons and gave him a standing ovation
