The truth that was a grazing punch with zero leverage and it floored her and completely put her into a meltdown. This shouldn't be how tax dollars are spent. I've been punched by guys 40 pounds lighter than me and didn't feel it, the opposite is true. If someone punches a 130 pound woman and that person is 170 the affects are devastating.

Ask any boxer who fights up even one weight class. Sugar ray Leonard said one of his toughest matches was against canadian donny lalonde, lalonde was a few pounds heavier. Leonard said the difference in power was incredible. I also dont like seeing fat male or female cops.
Normally boxers train at several pounds above their fighting weight, and they often go to extremes to lose weight quickly immediately prior to the weigh-in.

Canadian former lightweight/ welterweight Gaétan Hart had an unusual training regimen. He was several pounds under his fighting weight until a couple of weeks before a bout, then he packed on pounds with huge amounts of protein and intense weight lifting in the days before a fight.

In a May 7, 1980 match, he put his opponent Ralph Racine in a coma from a 12th round TKO, and six and a half weeks later, (on the undercard for the first Leonard-Duran fight on June 20, 1980), his 10th round TKO of Cleveland Denny resulted in his opponent's death 16 days later.

What?..LOL...They don't call for back up...When was the last time you got pulled over?

Can you imagine the waste of manpower that would be if a second unit that only had a male had to be called?
They don't call for backup if nothing goes wrong.
If something seems off or goes wrong, they do call for backup.
This is the same procedure whether it is a male or a female cop.
What is so new about this?

Not any different with a male cop.
When something goes wrong they call for backup per standard procedure.
I don't get pulled over when I drive, so not sure what that has to do with anything.
A male high a much higher chance at handling a physical one on one confrontation than a female.

Nobody reasonable and not trolling would dispute this.

When things go sideways and they will...There is no time to call for the cavalry.

"A much higher chance" - indicates a probability - not a certainty.
Which means the reverse could also be true - a male cop could fail, where a female cop actually succeeds.
Not all confrontations go the same way either - meaning situations are unique.
Female cops are also less likely to get into confrontations because they are found to de-escalate better than male cops.
Confrontations also involve calling for back up and working as a team, which is standard procedure for both male and female cops.
A confrontation itself happens only about 1% of the time
Putting all this together, means that the conclusion that female cops should not serve, simply because they are physically not as strong as men, is not a reasonable one supported by data or common sense.

But is is different with a male cop.
He is stronger than a female cop.
He has a statically smaller chance of being hurt or killed by a criminal.
However judging by your nonsensical posts you believe women are just as strong as men.

And that strength difference has very little bearing on their performance of their everyday policing job 99% of the time.
So strength difference is not a valid reason to demand that women should not serve.
All right wing arguments always rely on outliers and edge cases that don't happen 99% of the time.
Which is why no one takes these sorts of arguments seriously.

That means you are ok with the 1% of cases that a woman is injured or killed because of her gender.
Good to know your stance on protecting women.

No, in 1% of cases policing results in violent confrontation.
So in less than 1% of cases women may get hurt more than men do, and I am completely okay with those <1% odds.
When making a decision you need to consider what happens most often.
Not what happens in less than 1% of cases.
As I said using edge cases to push a narrative weakens your argument.

Heard many times from male cops that they don't think females should be out on patrol.

It puts the public and themselves in imminent danger.

if a situation can be resolved by de-escalation i would prefer a police woman, if an immediate action is required i would prefer a police man.
