Kirk was too. He said, in defense of the 2nd amendment, that there was an acceptable amount of gun deaths to go with it. And empathy was not real.

Everyone is just applying his teachings to his own demise.

Yes. That makes me right. Sympathy is when you feel sorry for someone. Empathy is when you try to understand someone.

There is a world of difference.

Sooner or later there will be payback and a Leftie will get assassinated as well.

Mark my words.

The Left has opened a can of worms with the 2 attempts on Trump, and now Charlie Kirk
Um, maybe this was payback for this. I guess it's only a big deal with a MAGA podcaster influencer who states empathy is wrong and a few being killed by guns is a good trade-off for the Second Amendment gets picked off?

An actual quote included "I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage. But, it is very effective when it comes to politics. Sympathy, I prefer more than empathy. That's a separate topic for a different time."

Let's give an example. One can't have "empathy" for Charlie Kirk. He's dead. One can have "sympathy" for his death and his family.
Sure. But Kirk lacked empathy by his own words. Quite simply I actually watched him numerous times on various platforms. He was pretty narrow minded in how people should live. Despite his proclaimed live as you want to ethos.

He was the type imo to impose societal restrictions based on his religion. And wanted to see that happen. He was just very polite about it.

No. But am sure we can agree that fascism, lies, misinformation, disinformation, rage bait, stochastic terrorism, racism, xenophobia, religious extremism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny etc are reprehensible.
Stochastic terrorism has to be the most slippery slope concept i ve ever encountered. It s the new buzz word the leftists are happy to use whenever they dont like what someone public says.

Almost anyone who speaks publicly against minorities activism like lgbtq can be accused of that, anything said to millions of people has incredible leverage to cause a few violent actions. Nothing Kirk said was ever even an indirect invitation to violence except when it comes to self defense and protecting constitutional rights.

Sure, no one here is actively wishing harm on his kids and family, in fact we all have sympathy for people who lose loved ones. A cruel and deceptive man died, though, one who has veered that country towards fascism like few others, so don't expect people to be sad about it.

It's scary when people who comment on quotes only take a second to see the actual full words.
Or worse they follow the propagandizing crowd.
