Imanha, I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make there. Sounds like the system works? They caught and charged some bad cops, dropped some other charges to save court time for other cases. So what?

Seems pretty common. The charges against Sheik appear to have been dropped for the same reason--there were bigger fish to fry.

maybe those Hells Angels were entitles to fair justice
The Hells Angels got fair justice. And lost.

As for criminal org. being tossed out all over the world - What about the U.S. RICO statutes???

bbk
In all fairness to Sheik and ImanHA, the RICO statutes have been approved by the Grand Juries in their indictments of HA members but thus far, nobody has been convicted in court under that.

There is a trial underway of HA's one time US west coast chief that's happening in Seattle right now and he's been charged under RICO. Let's see what comes out of that one.

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/307048_bikertrial12.html

One RICO conviction and Justice will seize all their property and trademarks.

Oh, and this bit is interesting in light of the discussion that was happening earlier regarding wearing uniforms/patches one is not entitled to:

Two of the defendants are accused of racketeering in connection with the slaying of Michael "Santa" Walsh.

Prosecutors say Walsh was killed at a party in Arlington on July 21, 2001, because he was falsely presenting himself as a full-fledged Hells Angel.

I was a family friend of Jack Ackroyd the former chief of the Metropolitian Toronto police force who died a number of years back. He told me a lot about problems in the police force. There was a considerable number of cops that were on a power trip and despite how hard they try to screen those cops out its next to impossible.

I've never said that all Angels are "angels" but many of them are hard working guys and their own neighbours have had nothing but good things to say about them. Don't believe me? Just read all the freaking articles in the media where their neighbours are interviewed. Other than a couple of complaints that sometimes the parties get a little loud, no one has anything negative to say about them.

I've been threatened, I've been intimidated and I've been harassed by cops. I've never had a biker threaten me or even try to intimidate me. I still stand by my originial assertion about fucking cops, I've been subjected to too much bullshit from a few of them and until you've been on the receiving end of it you will never understand. Yes there are a lot of good cops out there, but their "bad" numbers have clouded my judgement on the rest of the police force.

AMEN TO THAT!!!!!

Everyone states cops "are cool" until they deal with them on either end of a "crime". Everytime I have dealt with police officers it was negative. They seem to be the scum of the scum and I am often left scratching my head thinking "How the fuck did this asshole get the job". And I am a white, professional male with money. Now imagine a minority dealing with them? I could imagine what they do with the street hookers.

I have known many Hell's Angels including the the President of the Woodbridge chapter and they are all gentleman to the prospects. Never had a problem. Never will. In fact I bet if you met a HA you would never guess. It's not your daddy's HA.

The quality of cops has declined big time in Toronto. They are scum. Period. If you don't get it you don't and I bet you never dealt with them.

I wonder what Fugi thinks about the police seizing private property without a trial. Probably thinks its great as long as its not his.
We bought our clubhouse in toronto for 85k in '78. We owe 46k on it now and its worth 700k.
Im sure you all saw the cops on tv blow a hole in the wall (with the key in their pocket) and have a big media scrum announcing they seized the building without trial.
No guns or drugs were found in the clubhouse. They seized our bylaws that forbid criminal activity there of any type.

We are going to have to raise 100k to fight to get back what we already legally paid for and own. Thats Fugi's new Canada. Cops are always right, why have trials? They say your guilty, you must be right?

Anyway, We are having a boat cruise and giving away a 2007 Harley Davidson as a door prize to raise money for the fight. Mickey Rourke will be there, and a few more celebs i wont name.

We invite everyone to come out, the boat holds 500 and we are in negotiation with a very top band that is donating the performance, itll be announced when its finalized, but it was their offer, so it 'll be said soon.

www.realdealnews.com for all the info. Everyone welcome, come see who we really are for yourself. Or just believe Fugi and the cops. Gonna be a wild time. See our events pages to see previous years. The women are spactactular. I guess Fugi will tell you that drop dead gorgeous women have no other choice but to hang out with rotten people.

So I have to ask............You are asserting that the Hells Angels are not and never have been involved in illegal activities????? You are asserting that the Hells Angels are an extention of the EXPLORER SCOUTS or BOYS CLUB??

This is just a slur. You're putting words into my mouth just so you can insult me, presumably because you lost the debate.

I pointed out that the HA is a criminal organization, that a judge has said so, and noted that you have above expressed a willingness to use violence and threats of violence to resolve civil disputes. That's been going badly for you, so now you want to deflect attention by talking about the police instead.

Not only that, you want to make up things for me to say about it so that you can insult me for those made up things.

our bylaws that forbid criminal activity there of any type.
We don't need your bylaws to forbid criminal activity in your clubhouse, we have the Criminal Code of Canada for that, and it applies to you and your organization everywhere in Canada.

By the way, the implication of you having bylaws that forbid criminal activity inside your clubhouse is that criminal activity is fine elsewhere. It's not.

We are going to have to raise 100k to fight to get back what we already legally paid for and own.
Whether or not you legally paid for it is in dispute, and you will have your day in court on that matter.

Thats Fugi's new Canada. Cops are always right, why have trials? They say your guilty, you must be right?
Oh yeah, you're right, that's my new Canada: Cops are always right, why have trials. They say you're guilty, they must be right. Why stop there? While you're making up things for me to say and believe, why don't you pretend that I hate children and that I think the earth is flat?

Sheik, please close this thread, its just recycling earlier postings at this point and will lead, i have no doubt, to some bad things being said.

There has been no trial yet and you are already saying they are guilty.
WHERE did I say they are guilty? I plainly said it's in dispute and they'll have their day in court on that matter.

Also, it wasn't the police who seized their property. It was a court. The police simply carried out the court order.

Proceeds of crime laws, by the way, are civil rather than criminal proceedings. Please reframe your discussion in that context. The word "guilty" has nothing to do with a civil proceeding, the question is whether the property was legally acquired or not, and that will be tested in court.

Jesus Fuji, You got a lot of growing up to do and I mean a lot of it. Cops have seized property without a trial, without solid proof and usually with made up bullshit.

The guy you are talking to has first hand knowledge of the facts and he is telling you his side of the facts. There has been no trial yet and you are already saying they are guilty. That kind of attitude is exactly what the cops want from you and everyone else.

You are quick to judge without all the facts and you've done it many times. Remember your tirade about incalls and the brass rail? No matter how many people beat you over the head about the bullshit you were spouting you kept at it.

I'm going to suggest that Imaha ignore you and for what its worth, cops are not always right. Yes there are quite a few that do their job well and abide by the law to its letter and then there are those that are nothing more than school yard bullies on a power trip. Those few screw it up for all the rest of the police and its not just confined to the metro force, its worldwide.

Many of you missed the point that I stressed earlier that was underlined and requoted several times.
OK, 2 more rebuttals and I'm done with this..

1) The only people beating Fuji over the head about his "bullshit" is you and Iamha, a lot of others agree with and support his point of view.

2) About Iamha having first hand knowledge of the facts, remember there are 3 sides to every story, yours, mine and the truth. If we shouldn't believe what we read in the papers and watch on the news, then we shouldn't accept his news as gospel, because his facts aren't exactly unbiased and hardly the truth.

Peace Out.

Hells Angel in Manitoba Beats Criminal Org Charge
He extorted Atanasovic for his own benefit, not that of the Hells Angels.

The Barrie case said the exact same evidence-- the crime was commited for no one else's benifit but the accused-- and Fugi will say the whole club is guilty.

The appeal should be more interesting now. That makes three high courts that have ignored and disagreed with the Ontario ruling.

To the meat head that asked me the above quoted question. Its funny how you wouldnt ask the police, the clergy, the teachers, the NHL, any group at all the same stupid question. Ofcaorse a group of over ten thousand in 40 countries over 50 years has wrong doers. Whats your point?

No courts have disagreed with the Ontario ruling, they have simply ruled that it doesn't apply in the cases you cite.

Give it up dude, you lost this a long time ago and people are getting bored. YOU have already admitted to all of the things that 90% of Canadians find repugnant: A willingness to use violence and threats of it to settle civil disputes.

This thread reminds me of the Italian Mafia going to church every Sunday. LMAO

Same point I was making in the thread about the Sopranos TV show.

Something very odd when criminals become cult figures.
