I'm not really following day by day speculation on Trump's health. He seems like he's functioning.

Since you like to ask questions, let me ask you one. Given the importance of the U.S. Presidency in world affairs, do you think the U.S. and the West's enemies should know the President's exact health condition? Should they know every ailment or if he only had one or two years left if that were the case?

I think it will.
Immigration, especially ICE's actions are starting to bother a lot of people.
So I think it will have an impact, although I am not sure to what extent, which remains to be seen.
Also, we are at the end of 2025, so views today have changed over the last year.
And yes, the numbers do follow party allegiance, but the polls show that the majority of Americans, accounting for party allegiance are starting to feel negatively about Trump's immigration policies.

The economy will most likely be the big driver in the midterms.
But even that is an overstatement. The midterms simply favor the party not in the White House in all probability.

Elections aside, U.S. polling isn't very accurate. Then you take an emotional issue like immigration where those being polled might not be candid with pollsters. Knowing all that, the poll still has 47% supporting current immigration policy or not having an opinion.

For context, it's a fact U.S. Presidential elections are won with a high 40s plurality. Control of the House in recent years has been decided by razor thin margins.
