You are wrong everytime you comment on this...
I didn't defend anyone.
I'm asking you why you have a different standard for the players than you do for her, and you keep skirting.
Why are you not suspicious of her contradictions and selective memory loss?
because men need to stand up for once against the Horrendous acts men are allowing. We need to be the ones to say to eachother this isn’t okay

You can believe what you want, but you're here trying to make a case for her while applying a different standard to her contradictions and memory loss
than to the players'. And you're accusing the court of being unfair?
You're as unfair as anyone can get.
You're just picking her side arbitrarily and defending her to no end.
Start reading about the brain and traumatic events

Did she refuse in any way?
Did they force her to stay?
Did she give consent?
Why did she agree to some blood and urine tests but declined an offer of a urine toxicology exam? The roofie drug is detectable up to 5 days, she went to the
hospital 3 days after the alleged incident?
The test kit is then organized with the hospital and the police department. The police department that really dropped their duty to assist with this (small town police departments are known to protect their sports teams )

I don’t care what anybody here or even what the courts say…I think they did it and I think they’re guilty…the cover ups with phone cameras, group chat and phone calls show they know what they did was wrong…Hockey Canada paying the the victim 3.5 million shows they know it too…now players are not testifying with integrity with their “sudden memory loss”…now all the evidence from Hockey Canada’s investigation might get thrown out because of how terrible they were in obtaining it.

These clowns have gotten every break…how can they now get off.
Especially since hockey Canada keeps a reservoir of cash just for these incidents

Q: Why did E.M. wait three days before going to the hospital?
A: Because she didn't report the incident to police. Her mother's boyfriend complained on her behalf.

Q: Why didn't London police file charges in 2018?
A: Among other things, video of E.M. leaving the hotel, (see post #311), led detective Steve Newton to conclude that she was not sufficiently intoxicated that she would have been unable to consent. Newton did not believe that there was sufficient evidence to file charges. Since there was video evidence that consent was given, (in E. M.'s own words), the Crown would have needed to prove that E.M. was incapable of offering consent, and there is only her unsupported testimony to make that argument.

Q: Why was the case reopened years later?
A: Because there was a big stink on social media after reports about the out-of-court settlement were published.

Q: Why is Fun For All convinced that the players are guilty of sexual assault?
A: Because he has a daughter of about the same age, and he is projecting both her and himself into the scenario, and drawing conclusions from his emotional reaction to that hypothetical.
You’re gross

You and I see (or have seen SW's). Do you get consent from them for every single act you do? For example you're doing the girl doggy style and you slap her ass. Is that sexual assault? There is something called implicit consent that happens during a heated passion encounter.
You should be outright asking if they have any boundaries limits and stating that you want them to say no when they are uncomfortable. You should be making that clear. You should be checking in and saying is this okay? Are you sure? Do you like this? Etc.

The bar video might have showed how much she was drinking and how everyone was behaving, he didn’t even look at it!

Walking thru a lobby showed him how drunk she was? Not going to accuse this cop of over investigating.

And he says she was consenting because the players say so? Might as well had the players lawyers do the investigation

This cop could have done better
Cop likely has same mindset of many of the commenters here. Sad.

It's entirely possible that Fun For All's theory of what happened that night is 100% true. That doesn't matter.

There isn't sufficient evidence that his beliefs are truths. Criminal Court verdicts are not based on beliefs, or sympathy, or any emotional reaction to any witness' testimony or counsel's tactics. Those things only matter in Civil Court proceedings.

There IS video evidence that E.M. consented to all of the acts that evening. There is no evidence that she was too intoxicated to be able to consent.

There IS video evidence that she was sufficiently sober to exit the hotel in heels without difficulty. Nothing prevented E.M from going straight from the hotel to a police barn in the early morning of June 19, 2018 to file a complaint. Texting her friends appears to have been a higher priority to her.
There is no video of her consenting to all of the acts. The video is already discussed in this thread numerous times and discussed the timing of the video and its A blanket statement of consent that is after it’s been done and she’s still in the room she didn’t feel comfortable enough to leave

E.M. said 'it was all consensual' in a cellphone video entered as a defense exhibit. That's not a belief or an assumption.

There is no evidence that confirms beyond reasonable doubt that she was lying at that time, or not of sound mind. This is why Detective Steve Newton closed the case. Newton may have believed that she was sexually assaulted, but after seeing the video of her exiting the hotel, he know that that the combination of those two pieces of evidence is sufficient to form reasonable doubt. Everything else is just part of the dog and pony show portion of due process.

The handles calling for the lads' heads conveniently discard this hard evidence, and concentrate on minutiae, speculation and faith. Like The Crown, they know the cause is lost, but they follow the "three rules" which Roy Cohn taught to Donald Trump: always attack, never admit wrongdoing, and always claim victory, even if defeated.
There’s a show on Netflix about that exact problem you need to go watch. How police dismissing and not doing due diligence led to further more extreme acts by the perpetrator of rape. All about the journey of a victim of sexual assault and abuse by the system who can’t be bothered to help
