Guerrero, (not Guerreo, as in the headline), wasn't yet eligible for salary arbitration, so the fact that the Jays are paying him significantly more than they have to this year is a strong indication that they would like to retain his services beyond the initial six year period of indentured servitude. Some teams, and previous Jays' front offices, typically have paid players who lack leverage as little as is allowed, which doesn't work in the current era, where some teams are giving long term extensions to rookies and sophomores who have a large upside. The minimum offer route will still be common with non contenders who have no interest or opportunity to retain their young talent, or with any player having less than six years' experience, who have little to no star potential.

No deal in place for Bo Bichette yet, my guess is that he'll get about $7.7 for '22, his service time is almost the same as Vlad Jr's, and his value is marginally less.

Vlad Jr is Super 2 arb eligible. He gets 4 years of arb status starting this year. $7.9M is inline with top performers in their 1st year of arbitration. Juan Soto got $8.5M last year in his first arb year.

Bo Bichette didn’t quite reach the Super 2 status as he was a late call up in 2019. He will get league minimum this year + minimal raise as outlined by the CBA. Around $800K for 2022. His big raise will come next year provided he stays healthy and performs.

So, MLB fans, please confirm all this:
MLB Lock out resolutions

~ DH in BOTH leagues now (this is so, so wrong!) Yes. (yes).

~ 12 teams in playoffs now (previously 6 division winners, 2 wild cars, 2 second wild cards to compete in one game play off. Where are the other two coming from now?) Answered by Ref, (post #75).

~ Double headers full 9 innings for both games now (up from previous 7 innings) Yes.

~ No more runner on 2nd base in extra innings Still in effect for 2022 season, but not beyond.

Is this all? Am I missing anything?

That runner on 2nd rule sucks.
Yes, but it helps to end games sooner which reduces player fatigue.
Perhaps they could go with a runner on first instead? Or perhaps the option to choice between a runner on first or a runner on second with one out.

Or perhaps the rules of the game remain consistent from start to finish.

Jays interested in Brett Gardner, yikes , he's my nominee in the "Faces I'd Like To Punch" thread, he just looks like an ass hole!, but he is a left handed bat and he's quick on the base paths.
And he seems to play hard. He's been with one team for so long, he's probably a decent teammate. I've never heard of any controversy regarding him.

He would be a great teammate.

It's just that I don't like his face, like I don't like Nadal's

Five correct.

I missed Molina on my list, so there are two more not yet identified.

Mike Matheny.
An obscure former Jay that went on to have. Very good career as defensive catcher 4 Gold Gloves. He mentored Yadier Molina in his rookie season.
Matt Chapman is the 32nd Gold Glove winner to play for the Blue Jays. Name as many of the other 31 as you can.
